Job summary

Solve Industrial Motion Group is seeking an experienced FP&A Senior Manager to lead planning, forecasting, and reporting for manufacturing and operations. You will partner with Site Leaders, Operations, Supply Chain, Accounting, and Finance to provide visibility into performance, cost drivers, and improvement opportunities.

The role emphasizes standard costing, CGS modeling, variance analysis, and KPI reporting, while supporting capital planning, productivity projects, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in finance, accounting, business or related field
• 5+ years FP&A experience, preferably in manufacturing/industrial environment
• 3+ years of management experience
• Strong understanding of standard costing, cost accounting and manufacturing processes
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with ERP/BI tools

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and analysis for manufacturing operations, including monthly forecasts and annual budgets
• Partner with Site Managers and Operations leadership to understand cost performance and KPIs
• Oversee standard cost updates, cost roll-ups and COGS modeling across the network
• Conduct make-vs-buy analysis to inform strategic sourcing and long-term financial impact
• Analyze manufacturing variances and communicate root causes with actionable insights
• Support monthly close with journal entries review, accruals validation, and reporting schedules
• Create and maintain dashboards and tools to enhance operational visibility
• Support capital planning, ROI modeling and post-completion reviews of major CAPEX
• Contribute to integration efforts for newly acquired facilities and drive continuous improvement
