Hire Talent is conducting a confidential search for a hands-on FP&A leader to oversee budgeting, forecasting, liquidity management, and executive reporting for a PE-backed, multi-location manufacturing and distribution company serving North America. The role reports to the CFO and requires building complex models, partnering with executives, and driving financial insight across a growing organization.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of progressive FP&A experience, strong financial modeling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive FP&A experience.
• Prior Director-level or senior FP&A leadership experience.
• Advanced financial modeling and Excel expertise.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, industrial products, or other inventory-intensive environments.
• Multi-entity and ERP consolidation experience.
• Excellent executive communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range planning.
• Own the integrated three-statement model (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Develop cash flow, liquidity, and working capital forecasts.
• Perform scenario, sensitivity, and risk analysis.
• Improve forecast accuracy and financial visibility.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for executive leadership, Board, lenders, and PE stakeholders.
• Analyze profitability, EBITDA, cash flow, and working capital.
• Deliver variance analysis and KPI reporting.
• Consolidate results across multiple entities, locations, currencies, and ERP systems.
• Partner with Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Purchasing leaders.
• Develop business cases for investments and strategic initiatives.
• Support acquisitions, integrations, and growth initiatives.
• Enhance FP&A systems, reporting tools, and automation.
• Standardize planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Drive improvements in financial data quality and reporting efficiency.
• Leverage Power BI, Datarails, Dynamics 365, and Excel.
