Job summary

EY seeks an FP&A Data & Analytics Assistant Director to transform how financial and operational insights are delivered. You will partner with Finance, business leaders, data architects and engineering teams to develop data, analytics and AI-enabled solutions that improve decision-making and create measurable business value.

This role leads the evolution of FP&A data capabilities using technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks and emerging AI platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, CS, Data Science or equivalent.
• 5-7+ years in data engineering, analytics, BI or related disciplines.
• Experience partnering with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver analytics.
• Experience leading enterprise data, analytics and reporting initiatives.
• Strong SQL, data modeling and ETL capabilities.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric.
• Knowledge of data ingestion, transformation, orchestration and production support.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance and stakeholders to understand challenges and develop data-driven solutions.
• Design and deliver analytics solutions providing actionable insights and business value.
• Serve as SME for products, platforms or capabilities guiding both business and tech teams.
• Lead discussions to define priorities and align delivery with objectives.
• Oversee data pipelines for extraction, transformation and integration from multiple sources.
• Collaborate with data architects and engineering to develop scalable data architectures.
• Optimize data platforms for performance, reliability and cost efficiency.
• Present recommendations, roadmaps and insights to leaders and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with offshore resources to support delivery and continuous improvement.
• Promote adoption of analytics, AI and modern data practices.
