Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced FP&A Analyst for the Capacity Growth Office. The role supports munitions acceleration investments, budgeting, forecasting and ongoing financial analysis within a hybrid US-based environment.

The position collaborates with CGO and Program SBU Finance Teams to ensure accurate accounting treatment and transparent financials, with opportunities to streamline processes and automate reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field with 5+ years experience or an Advanced degree with 3 years experience
• Experience in program cost controls or FP&A
• Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word and/or PowerPoint)
• Ability to obtain secret clearance
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract

Responsibilities

• Support FP&A-related activities for munitions acceleration investments.
• Coordinate indirect expense forecasting and EACs, with ownership of related processes.
• Support Capital EACs, AOP and LRP for CGO capital projects.
• Streamline and maintain monthly FP&A deliverables and reporting for capital investments.
• Assist in developing monthly forecasts, AOP and LRP with program finance and functional partners.
• Perform monthly variance analysis and identify drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Support process improvements by automating reports and improving data accuracy.
