Job summary

RTX is seeking a Financial Analyst in the FP&A team to support planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis. You will collaborate with FP&A teammates, Finance Directors, and Managers to prepare financial information for reviews and decision‑making. The role requires a university degree or equivalent experience, at least 2 years of relevant work, and proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

U.S. citizenship is required for access to government systems.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for financial analysis, reporting, documentation, and presentations.
• U.S. citizenship is required by government contractual requirements for access to the financial management system.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports, presentations, and FP&A deliverables in accordance with reporting requirements and deadlines.
• Monitor and update Short Range Outlook (SRO) risks and opportunities.
• Support monthly financial forecast updates, including data collection, review, and submission.
• Support annual operating plan and long-range planning activities.
• Perform variance analysis and identify financial trends and discrepancies.
• Support monthly and quarterly business reviews, including key metrics reporting and management materials preparation.
• Analyze balance sheet accounts and assist with resolving outstanding items.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting.
