Job summary

RTX Corporation is seeking a Principal Finance Analyst to join the OSCQ Finance team in the United States. You will partner with Operations to manage budgets, forecasts, and reporting on indirect expenses and CER pools, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

You will lead monthly variance analysis, develop operating plans, and collaborate with stakeholders across finance and operations to drive informed decision-making. This hybrid role offers growth opportunities and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field, with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience consolidating and analyzing large financial data sets to ensure accurate forecasts.
• Experience with SAP, Business Warehouse, or similar systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly reports comparing actuals to plan and analyze variances.
• Forecast monthly results and identify risks and opportunities.
• Analyze cost components for labor, materials, and other expenses.
• Develop time-phased indirect expense and headcount plans.
• Support the annual operating plan (AOP) and ensure budget systems reflect approved values.
• Maintain CER pool factors and ensure compliance with stakeholders.
• Review labor and pool charges for compliance; prepare JVs and IOTs as needed.
