Job summary

Alba Wheels Up International is seeking an FP&A Analyst in Valley Stream, NY. You will join a hybrid team responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to guide strategic decisions and operational excellence in international logistics and customs compliance.

You will collaborate with Commercial, Operations, and Accounting, build accurate plans, and deliver timely insights. A 1–3 year background in FP&A with strong Excel and ERP skills is preferred, enabling growth into broader

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 1–3 years of FP&A, accounting, or related analytical experience.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems and PowerPoint are a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Clear communicator capable of presenting findings to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Curiosity to learn logistics and customs brokerage industry and drive growth.
• Growth mindset with willingness to take on greater scope over time.

Responsibilities

• Support annual budget and quarterly forecast processes with department leaders.
• Prepare and maintain recurring financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Assist month-end close activities and journal entries.
• Partner cross-functionally to gather data and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Support ad hoc analysis and special projects as directed.
• Identify opportunities to streamline recurring reporting and forecasting.

What You'll Do

• Support the annual budget and quarterly forecast process, partnering with department leaders to build accurate and timely financial plans and forecast
• Prepare and maintain recurring financial reporting and variance analysis for leadership review
• Assist with month end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and close reporting support
• Partner cross functionally with Commercial, Operations, and Accounting to gather data, validate assumptions, and ensure reporting accuracy
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned by leadership
• Identify opportunities to streamline and improve recurring reporting and forecasting processes

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in FP&A, accounting, or a related analytical role
• Strong Excel skills, with familiarity with financial systems/ERP and PowerPoint a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Clear communicator, comfortable presenting findings to cross functional stakeholders
• Curiosity to learn the logistics and customs brokerage industry, and what drives the business forward
• A growth mindset, with interest in taking on greater scope and responsibility over time
