Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Foundry Supervisor to lead the evening shift (5pm - 3am, Mon-Thu with occasional OT). You will supervise a team of about 20, ensuring safe, productive operations and on-time production in a casting environment.

The role focuses on scheduling, mentoring, reporting, and driving continuous improvement while upholding strong safety standards and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a foundry/casting environment (permanent mold)
• At least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Proven leadership skills
• Experience scheduling, planning and coordinating resources to meet production targets
• Strong training skills to mentor and develop team members
• Excellent reporting skills for production performance
• Experience handling work requests and coordinating with other departments
• Commitment to safety and implementing safety protocols
• Excellent communication across all levels of the organization
• Continuous improvement mindset across processes and systems

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a diverse team of approximately 20 on the evening shift
• Develop and implement production schedules, coordinate resources and manpower
• Train and mentor team members for continuous learning and improvement
• Monitor and report on production performance and drive improvements
• Handle work requests and coordinate with other departments
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and maintain a safe environment
• Address issues or conflicts to maintain a positive, productive team
• Drive ongoing process and system improvements across manufacturing operations
