Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to design and optimize production processes at a southwest Atlanta area plant. The role focuses on tooling, layout, and efficiency improvements, reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

You will develop new processes, analyze workflows, and drive continuous improvement with Lean methodologies. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Engineering, hands-on SolidWorks experience, and a background in heavy manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Ability to use SolidWorks and Microsoft Office effectively.
• Must have tooling experience.
• Project management experience required to run projects end-to-end.
• Automation experience including robotics and PLCs.
• Experience as a manufacturing engineer in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Foundry experience is desired; die casting, stamping, finishing, or plating experience welcome.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design production tooling using 2D/3D software such as SolidWorks.
• Implement productivity improvements on current production lines.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend design or process changes.
• Design and implement production process for new products and changes.
• Conduct FMEA for new and existing products.
• Review designs for manufacturability and optimize processing.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to enhance productivity methods.
• Lead design of experiments and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Lead design reviews for new and existing products.
• Create work instructions, statements of work, and inventory management.
• Implement automation, robotics, vision systems, controls integration, and fixturing.
