Job summary

H. T. PROF Group in the Atlanta area seeks a Manufacturing Engineer for our Macon, GA site to design and optimize foundry processes, improve equipment layouts, workflows, and automation to meet product specs.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will drive efficiency and implement capital improvements. The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and hands-on experience with SolidWorks, tooling, and automation; foundry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proficient with SolidWorks 2D/3D modeling and MS Office.
• Experience with tooling development and fabrication.
• Project management experience to lead full projects.
• Automation experience including robotics and PLCs.
• Foundry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design production tooling and tooling layouts using 2D/3D software.
• Implement productivity improvements on current production lines.
• Perform root cause analysis using statistical methods and recommend changes.
• Design and implement production processes for new products and changes.
• Lead design reviews for new and existing products.
• Create work instructions, spare parts inventories, and maintenance plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize productivity.
