Job summary

Intel Corporation in Hillsboro, Oregon is seeking a Lab Industrial Engineer to optimize lab operations and develop demand and capacity plans for testing and failure analysis. You will design KPI frameworks, build automated dashboards using Power BI, Python, and SQL, and drive data-driven improvements while ensuring ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 alignment.

The role partners with cross-functional teams in Intel Foundry's Quality and Reliability Labs to enhance productivity and support equipment

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a related engineering field with relevant experience.
Experience in capacity planning and applying LEAN manufacturing principles.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data reporting tools for operational optimization.
Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, lab, or electronics environments.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain end-to-end demand and capacity plans for lab operations.
Identify bottlenecks via time studies and utilization analysis to drive improvements.
Create KPI frameworks to monitor throughput, utilization, quality, and cost per test.
Build automated dashboards and reporting pipelines with Power BI, Python, and SQL.
Integrate data streams for real-time decision-making and reduce manual reporting.
Support ISO 9001/17025 compliant quality processes in labs and audits.
Collaborate on equipment purchases, layout changes, and workflow optimization.
Apply data analysis and modeling to improve productivity and flow.
