Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Engineering Manager for a hands-on shop-floor role on our foundry floor in Wisconsin. You will drive the development and improvement of foundry processes, oversee projects from concept to completion, and ensure quality and safety across operations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, 5+ years in a foundry, CAD proficiency, and strong project-management skills to lead cross-functional teams toward higher efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering required.
5+ years of foundry experience focusing on process capabilities, process control, and rigging/fixture design.
Proven project management experience in a manufacturing setting.
Strong understanding of foundry operations and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage foundry processes to boost productivity, efficiency, and quality.
Monitor process capability and control to ensure product integrity.
Design rigging and fixtures to improve operations.
Lead and coordinate projects from initiation to completion.
Collaborate to troubleshoot complex foundry challenges.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular audits and maintain machinery in optimal condition.
Provide technical guidance and promote continuous improvement.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices.
