Job summary

McCarthy Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Foundry Engineering & Engineering Enablement in St. Louis. You will lead the Foundry engineering team, set a unified backlog and standards, and partner with Palantir and internal teams to translate priorities into executable plans.

You will also build engineering enablement across CI/CD, testing, developer experience, reliability, and platform standards to scale delivery for complex enterprise solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 8 years relevant experience, including 3+ yrs leading software engineering, platform engineering, cloud engineering, or technology delivery teams.
• Strong hands-on understanding of modern software engineering practices, including source control, CI/CD, testing, deployment automation, observability, and production support.
• Experience with cloud platforms, APIs, distributed systems, integration, containers, infrastructure automation, or developer platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical work across multiple teams and translate business or product goals into executable engineering plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead Foundry engineering as one team with a shared backlog, delivery cadence, technical standards, and production ownership.
• Coordinate technical dependencies across Foundry, applications, integrations, data, AI, security, and enterprise architecture.
• Establish practical development, testing, release, and production-support practices for Foundry delivery.
• Establish and mature CI/CD practices for engineering teams and shared platforms.
• Coach engineers and technical leads and create a culture of learning, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Set clear expectations for delivery, technical quality, collaboration, and operational ownership.
