Talently in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Refractory Coatings Specialist - Foundry to join our manufacturing operations. This hands-on role acts as a technical expert for refractory coatings, advancing formulations and product performance while supporting plants, labs, and customers.

You will develop and optimize coatings for ferrous foundry applications, conduct laboratory testing, and support new product development from formulation through field trials and commercial implementation.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Mansioni

Develop, modify, and optimize refractory coatings for ferrous foundry applications, including dip, brush, and spray methods.
Design and conduct laboratory testing of raw materials, in-process blends, and finished products.
Support new product development from initial formulation through scale-up, field trials, and commercial implementation.
Troubleshoot coating application, adhesion, rheology, consistency, surface condition, and high-temperature performance issues.
Partner with customers and cross-functional teams to recommend effective technical solutions and provide training.
Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams on product consistency, process improvements, specifications, and corrective actions.
Evaluate and qualify raw materials and suppliers, supporting cost optimization without compromising performance.
Maintain accurate technical records and reports while following applicable safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
