Solace Elixir Bar & Lounge in Pittsburgh’s Lawrenceville is launching its first zero-proof elixir program and seeks a founding mixologist to help bring it to life. The role emphasizes original botanical cocktails designed around how guests want to feel, with a full beverage program including tea, coffee, and kava.

You will lead AM or PM service, execute drinks with precision, guide guests through new ingredients, and collaborate with the founders on menu testing, batching, and training.

Qualifications

• Must have a strong cocktail background with balance, dilution, texture, aroma, glassware and presentation.
• Working knowledge of NA spirits, teas, kava, botanicals and functional ingredients.
• Drinks should be balanced, beautiful, and easy for guests to understand.

Responsibilities

• Lead AM or PM beverage service.
• Execute cocktails, tea, coffee, kava, and speciosa consistently.
• Guide guests through unfamiliar ingredients with confidence.
• Maintain prep, batching, restocking, POS flow, cleanliness, and opening/closing standards.
• Collaborate with founders and help set opening menu and standards.
