Job summary

Ci Siamo Boston is seeking an experienced Bartender to join our opening team. You’ll master our beverage program, deep knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, and deliver Enlightened Hospitality to every guest.

In a fast-paced setting you’ll thrive on accuracy, hospitality, and teamwork, standing for long shifts while keeping the bar clean and organized and collaborating with the floor and kitchen to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as a Bartender or beverage service role in a fast-paced restaurant bar or bar environment is a plus
• Passion for wine, spirits, beer, and non-alcohol beverages
• English fluency; additional languages encouraged but not required
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods
• Ability to balance and carry multiple glassware; lift up to 30 lbs

Responsibilities

• Consistently support a culture of Enlightened Hospitality
• Create a welcoming and hospitable environment for all guests at the bar
• Demonstrate sound knowledge of specialty and classic cocktails, wine, beer, and beverages
• Maintain fluency in all menu items and ingredients; suggest beverage pairings
• Follow proper service steps with grace and urgency
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and seating area
• Communicate effectively with staff, management, and kitchen during service
