Job summary

SimpleShuttles is building a platform to manage all aspects of group charter bookings across the United States. We’re a founder-led startup, remote-first, and hiring a technical owner who will shape the stack and the roadmap.

You’ll own the technology, build the team, and set standards across the stack: TypeScript, Next.js, Postgres, Stripe, and deployment on Vercel. You’ll work closely with the founder to define what comes next, balancing speed with quality.

Qualifications

• Senior/lead engineer with real product experience.
• Fluent across stack: React, Node, TypeScript, cloud platforms.
• Experience in logistics/travel or similar domains is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the platform stack, roadmap, and engineering standards.
• Hire and lead the early engineering team.
• Ensure data security and privacy for customers and operators.
• Collaborate with founder on what to build next and what not to build.
