Kick is an applied AI company building the first self-driving bookkeeping experience in Palo Alto. We’ve raised $20M from OpenAI, General Catalyst and GV to help millions of business owners automate the boring stuff.

We are hiring a recruiting leader who owns the full cycle, sources proactively, builds processes, and partners with the founders to hire across GTM, Engineering, Product, and Operations. The role manages 8–12 open roles with 4–5 days in the office.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience closing hires across GTM and technical roles.
• Experience as AI-native recruiter leveraging modern tech.
• Scrappy sourcer who doesn’t wait for inbound applications.
• Highly organized with 8–12 open roles to manage.
• Willing to relocate to Palo Alto, CA or based there.

Responsibilities

• Own the full recruiting lifecycle; sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, offers and closing candidates.
• Partner with founders and hiring managers to define role requirements and scorecards.
• Build recruiting infrastructure from scratch (ATS, processes, feedback loops, branding).
• Source proactively via LinkedIn, networks, events, and creative channels.
• Track recruiting metrics to continuously improve the process.
• Be a stellar first impression of Kick for every candidate.
