Job summary

Moove AV, a leader in autonomous mobility operations, is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to own the architecture of a greenfield platform powered by GenAI, LLMs, and real-time visual intelligence. You will start as a hands-on founding engineer, growing into long-term ownership and mentorship as the platform matures.

You will design highly scalable backend systems, write production-grade code, and drive observability, deployments, and on-call support while collaborating with cross-time-zone

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (CS/SE/CE) preferred.
• 8+ years in cloud-native backend or platform systems.
• Experience delivering greenfield products from scratch.
• Hands-on with distributed systems and AI/LLM components.
• Strong design, performance, reliability fundamentals.
• Comfort in high-ownership, early-stage environments.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, resilient, distributed systems and translate requirements into architecture.
• Write production-grade code and lead code/design reviews with the team.
• Own systems end-to-end: design, deployment, monitoring, on-call support.
• Deliver features on time in an agile environment balancing speed and rigor.
• Mentor engineers and raise engineering standards within the team.
