Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, SE, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience building cloud-native backend or platform systems.
• Proven experience delivering greenfield products or internal platforms.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems and deployment pipelines.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into production-ready systems.
• Strong fundamentals in system design, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Comfort operating in high-ownership, low-process environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and build highly scalable, resilient, distributed systems and services; translate requirements into architecture.
• Write high-quality, production-grade code; lead code and design reviews.
• Own systems end-to-end: design, deployment, monitoring, on-call support; build observability.
• Deliver features on time and on budget in an Agile environment.
• Collaborate with cross-time-zone teams and customers to reduce friction.
• Influence technical decisions; mentor engineers and raise engineering standards.
• Foster junior engineers' growth through coaching and code/design reviews.
