Job summary

Moove AV seeks a Principal Software Engineer to own a brand-new platform for autonomous mobility operations, powered by GenAI, LLMs, and real-time visual intelligence. You will start hands-on as a founding engineer and grow into long-term technical ownership and mentorship.

Lead architecture, craft scalable cloud services, and guide a small team through rapid growth while shaping the engineering culture and standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/SE/CE.
10+ years building cloud-native backend or platform systems.
Experience delivering greenfield products from scratch.
Hands-on distributed systems on modern cloud infra with AI/LLM components.
Ability translate ambiguous requirements into production systems.
Strong design, performance, reliability, maintainability.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Design core architecture and select tech stack for a new autonomous platform.
Collaborate with product, operations, and depot teams to translate requirements into production-ready systems.
Influence product and technology strategy; define platform features and LLM best practices.
Build agentic APIs to deliver low-latency, scalable cloud services and device software.
Design for reliability, performance, and maintainability from day one.
Set engineering standards, coding practices, and governance.
Onboard and mentor new engineers as the platform scales.
