Job summary
Fieldmaterials in San Francisco is seeking a Sales Engineer to act as a technical backbone for the sales team. You will bridge the gap between our AI technology and the operational needs of contractors, conducting technical discovery and product demonstrations and acting as the voice of the customer.
Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of SaaS experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with construction ERP systems. Great benefits include competitive salary, unlimited PTO, and health benefits.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or similar role.
- Ability to manage multiple technical evaluations in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with construction workflows like RFQs, POs, and Invoices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct deep-dive discovery sessions to identify prospect pain points.
- Deliver compelling demonstrations showcasing the AI and ERP integrations.
- Design and present solution architecture mapping to customer workflows.
- Prototype AI agents customized to prospect needs.
- Lead technical evaluations addressing API and data privacy concerns.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to share field insights.
- Act as a technical consultant during sales cycle closing.
