Job summary
Decagon is seeking a Founding Solutions Architect - Infrastructure to define how enterprises deploy and scale our AI-powered platform. This role sits at the intersection of pre-sales engineering, deployment architecture, and enterprise infrastructure strategy, guiding clients through complex deployment conversations and shaping best practices.

Qualifications
- 8–10+ years of customer-facing technical experience in architect/deploy roles focusing on infrastructure.
- Deep fluency in Docker, Kubernetes, GCP Cloud Functions/Cloud Run, and AWS patterns.
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguous enterprise conversations and drive discovery.
- Ability to engage diverse stakeholders and translate requirements into deployment strategies.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to design deployment solutions that address infrastructure constraints and ROI.
- Translate customer environments (GCP, AWS, hybrid, on-prem) into integration and deployment strategies.
- Design containerization approaches, cloud function implementations, and architectures tailored to each customer's requirements and security posture.
- Establish scalable pre-sales processes, deployment playbooks, and reusable reference architectures.
