Job summary

Decagon is hiring for an infrastructure-focused role building and operating core platforms. You’ll own deployment architectures in customer clouds, ensuring security, reliability, and scale across multi‑tenant environments.

You’ll design platforms over cloud, Kubernetes, and networking, and you’ll implement automation, CI/CD, and on‑call readiness as the team expands to support enterprise AI deployments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building and operating core infrastructure, platform engineering, or infra/DevOps.
• Deep experience with a major cloud provider (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Terraform and Kubernetes at scale.
• Strong cloud networking fundamentals (VPCs, IAM, DNS, load balancers).
• Production systems reliability: monitoring, on‑call, incident response.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity across stakeholders and turning conversations into plans.

Responsibilities

• Design development and production platforms over cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and networking.
• Own enterprise deployments in customer clouds with setup, upgrades, scaling, and incident support.
• Build runbooks and automation for repeatable deployments.
• Ensure monitoring, alerts, and rollback are first‑class parts of every release.
• Collaborate with product, security, and customer teams to align deployment plans.
