Job summary

Decagon in the United States seeks an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to build scalable platforms and manage deployments for enterprise customers. You will own deployment architectures in customer clouds and ensure security, compliance, and operational rigor across multi‑tenant environments.

You will design and operate CI/CD workflows, incident response, on‑call readiness, and ensure latency and availability align with customer expectations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building and operating core infrastructure, platform engineering, or infrastructure/DevOps.
• Deep experience with a major cloud provider (GCP, AWS, or Azure), along with Terraform and Kubernetes at scale.
• Strong grasp of cloud networking fundamentals (VPCs, IAM, DNS, load balancing) and deployment constraints.
• Track record operating production systems with monitoring, on‑call, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Design development and production platforms over cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and networking to enable engineers to ship without infrastructure depth.
• Take end‑to‑end ownership of deployment architecture in customer‑owned cloud environments and the full lifecycle: setup, upgrades, scaling, incident support.
• Build runbooks and automation to make deployments repeatable and reliable, with strong emphasis on monitoring and rollback.
