Inspired Learners Academy is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the Fall 2025 opening of its therapeutic day school in Wheeling, IL. The SLP will assess and implement individualized therapy for students aged 5-14, collaborating with special education professionals and providing essential support. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of the founding team, focusing on compassionate, relationship-centered care tailored to the needs of students with diverse backgrounds. You will contribute meaningfully to developing communication strategies and ensure impactful educational experiences.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Illinois SLP license and PEL (or eligible).
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred.
• Experience working in school or therapeutic settings preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy services in individual and small group formats.
• Collaborate closely with special education teachers, behavior therapists, and related service providers.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress monitoring.
• Offer support and training to staff on communication strategies and AAC when applicable.
