Job summary

Onward Education in the Wheeling, IL area is seeking a part-time, on-site Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026–2027 school year. You will evaluate students, provide direct services, collaborate with educators and families, and support IEP goals related to speech, language, and social communication.

You’ll work 20 hours/week, on-site, starting August 24, 2026 and concluding May 21, 2027. Join a multidisciplinary team focused on helping students access learning and thrive socially.

Qualifications

• PEL licensure required for school settings.
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams preferred.
• AAC exposure is a plus for communication supports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct student screenings and evaluations for speech, language, and related needs.
• Provide direct therapy and ongoing service delivery to students.
• Develop and support IEP/504 goals aligned to student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and maintain documentation.
