Job summary

Princeton Staffing Solutions is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for a School-Based, part-time role in Wheeling, IL for the 2026-2027 school year. The position serves 15 students at an Elementary school, 16.5 hours weekly, onsite W2 contract with district benefits.

The ideal candidate has a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, IL state SLP license (IDFPR) and PEL with SPED endorsement; CCC-SLP preferred. Experience in IEP meetings and Medicaid billing is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist (IDFPR).
• Professional Educator License (PEL) with Special Education Endorsement.
• CCC-SLP preferred; school-based experience required.
• Experience with IEP development and compliance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech-language evaluations and comprehensive assessments.
• Complete Medicaid billing (if applicable).
• Maintain therapy schedules and service logs.
• Participate as a related service provider in IEP meetings.
• Develop measurable IEP goals aligned with student needs.
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group).
• Deliver services across speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, and pragmatic communication.
• Maintain compliance documentation and progress monitoring.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families.
• Support AAC implementation and consultation when appropriate.

• Active State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) issued by IDFPR
• Professional Educator License (PEL) with Special Education Endorsement
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous school-based experience is required. Clinical internship or practicum experience in a school setting will be considered.
• Experience with IEP development and compliance documentation
