Job summary

Princeton Staffing Solutions is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF) to deliver school-based therapy in a public education setting in Wheeling, IL. The role focuses on supporting students with communication disorders through evaluation, therapy planning, and collaboration with teachers and families.

CF supervision is available and compliant with ASHA guidelines. Our team offers competitive benefits and flexible work options depending on district needs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility in progress).
• CCC preferred but not required for CF candidates.
• Educator/Teacher Certification if required by the state.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred; new grads are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat students with communication disorders (articulation, language, fluency, voice).
• Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Write measurable goals and track progress.
• Support students using AAC devices and strategies.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team planning.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff.
• Maintain required documentation and adhere to school and state policies.
• Apply current best practices in speech-language pathology for pediatric populations.

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Active state license as Speech-Language Pathologist

CCC - Certificate of Clinical Competence (preferred)

Educator/Teacher Certification if required by the state
