Job summary

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning of South Akron is seeking a Senior Service Technician to help build a trusted HVAC service presence in Southern Akron. You will be a founding team member guiding craftsmanship, customer service, and team development as we grow.

You will diagnose and repair residential systems, mentor technicians, and train new hires while maintaining safety standards and excellent customer communication. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on HVAC service/repair experience required.
• EPA 608 Certification required.
• Strong troubleshooting and judgment under pressure.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, ACs, and ductwork.
• Handle complex service calls and escalated diagnostics.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance; install new equipment as needed.
• Mentor and coach junior technicians and apprentices.
• Train new team members on standards, safety, and customer service.
• Maintain accurate service records and parts usage.
