Job summary

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning of South Akron seeks a Senior HVAC Installer to join the founding team. You will set craftsmanship and customer service standards while mentoring technicians and apprentices as the location grows.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of hands-on HVAC experience, EPA 608, and the ability to train others. This on-site role offers growth toward Lead Technician or Field Supervisor as the franchise expands.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on HVAC service/repair experience.
• EPA 608 Certification required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Deep working knowledge of electrical, refrigeration, and gas systems across brands.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, ACs, and ductwork on residential systems.
• Mentor and coach newer technicians and apprentices.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance and install new HVAC equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate service records and parts used, with proper safety adherence.
• Communicate clearly with customers about issues, options and pricing.
