Job summary

Zen Media & Optimum7 is seeking a Founding Sales Manager (Player-Coach) in Florida, remote (EST). You will own the full sales cycle, close key deals, and build a high-performing team from the ground up.

Lead outbound and inbound strategies, develop playbooks, track KPIs, and collaborate with Marketing, GTM Engineering, and the CEO. This role offers a remote, full-time position with a competitive base salary and a performance-based bonus tied to revenue.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of B2B sales experience including leadership.
• Experience hiring, training, coaching and managing sales reps.
• Strong outbound prospecting, consultative selling, negotiation and pipeline development.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from discovery to closing and document what works.
• Hire, train and manage Sales Closers and outbound SDRs with clear targets.
• Optimize messaging, follow-ups, conversion rates, pipeline management and forecasting across both brands.
• Own team revenue targets, convert initial projects into monthly retainers and drive upsell.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Account Management, GTM Engineering, and CEO to improve lead quality and revenue performance.
• Track KPIs (show rates, close rates, sales cycle length, revenue per rep) and report to leadership.
