ThinkingAhead, a startup building AI voice employees for service businesses, is looking for its first dedicated salesperson. You will own the revenue engine, recruit referral partners, and close deals from first conversation to signed order.

This is a founding seat with clear revenue targets over the first 18 months. You’ll build a playbook for future sellers, manage a referral network, run live AI-powered demos, and work directly with founders and the product team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years selling to mid-sized business owners and franchises.
• Proven ability to close five-figure annual contracts.
• Experience building referral or channel networks.
• Direct, owner-facing communication style.
• Disciplined AI-assisted CRM habits.

Responsibilities

• Source, qualify, demo, propose, negotiate, close
• Run live demos with an AI employee on real calls
• Recruit referral partners and grow pipeline
• Maintain partner relationships and referrals
• Generate leads via partners and personal network
• Qualify against three gates
• Maintain HubSpot pipeline and prepare for weekly reviews
• Represent ThinkingAhead at events and partner sessions
• Hand customers to onboarding and stay engaged through go-live
• Provide field feedback to the product team
