Job summary

Cerity Partners is seeking a founding product designer for its Innovation Team to shape the 0-to-1 product strategy, user experience, and design systems at a fast-growing financial services firm.

You will own end-to-end journeys, collaborate with clients, advisors, and colleagues, and help define design standards while applying AI to wealth management and client experiences. This is a rare opportunity to influence core product direction.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in design and product development.
• Experience in financial services or wealth management.
• Proven AI tooling experience (e.g., Claude, Codex).
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and build 0-to-1 products from first principles.
• Proficiency with Figma and AI design tools (Claude Code, Codex).

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end experience for the Innovation Team, delivering 0-to-1 and scale initiatives.
• Build in partnership with clients, advisors, and colleagues to map workflows and test hypotheses.
• Establish foundational product strategy and user experience that underpin client, advisor, and colleague journeys.
• Work across the AI stack (harness, context, memory, evals, agents, models) to apply AI to wealth management.
• Define the standards of design and create the visual language and interaction models.
