Job summary

True Talent Solutions Partners in New York is seeking its founding product designer for an early-stage AI insurtech team. You will own the user experience for claims workflows and dashboards used by operators and leaders.

You’ll translate customer needs with analytics, research, and discovery; collaborate with product and engineering; build AI-enabled experiences and establish a design system to scale enterprise-grade UI.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of product design experience in technology companies.
• Early-stage startup experience as a founding designer or first design hire.
• A portfolio demonstrating UX-first work on complex, data-rich software used regularly by operators.
• Experience simplifying workflows through behavioral data, product analytics, and user research.
• Hands-on prototyping experience with AI-assisted tools such as Claude or Lovable.
• Insurance, claims, healthcare, or other compliance-heavy domain experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end UX across claims workspaces and reporting dashboards for operational teams and leaders.
• Use product analytics, heat maps, user research, and discovery conversations to identify workflow problems and guide improvements.
• Partner with product leadership and engineering to translate customer needs into clear, buildable workflows.
• Design experiences for AI agents that show users what the agent did, why it did it, what information it used, and where human review is needed.
• Guide the product’s evolution into a polished, enterprise-ready experience, from discovery through delivery.
• Establish design principles and a design system, and use AI tools to prototype and test ideas quickly.
