Job summary

EvolutionIQ seeks an experienced Staff Product Designer to shape new product experiences around emerging AI technologies for insurance claims management. You will define how customers interact with agentic products, decide what to automate or keep human-controlled, and build trust through thoughtful design.

You will operate as a thought partner to Product and Engineering, bringing clarity to ambiguous problems, aligning stakeholders, and driving decisions that move the product forward.

Qualifications

• 12+ years designing digital products in B2B enterprise software or complex spaces
• Experience designing AI/ML or data-driven products; fluent in AI system behavior and human-in-the-loop experiences
• Exceptional systems thinking; design for scale and reusable frameworks
• Ability to set experience strategy and bring structure to ambiguity
• End-to-end UX/product design experience for impactful solutions
• Exceptional communication; influence direction with cross-functional partners and executives
• Raise the bar for teammates through work and feedback

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic vision and conceptual design across the AI landscape
• Design human and AI agent interactions, including uncertainty, automation, control, intervention, and recovery
• Define the experience model, information architecture, workflows, interaction patterns, and reusable agentic patterns and design-system foundations
• Conduct discovery with clients to inform decisions and validate concepts via rapid prototyping and usability testing
• Establish scalable experience architecture across a complex platform with reusable patterns and design-system components
• Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to shape the product, balancing user needs, AI capabilities, feasibility, and regulatory requirements
