Job summary

SourceIn is hiring a Founding Platform Engineer to architect and build the core platform for an early-stage AI SaaS startup. You will own backend systems, scale multi-tenant infrastructure, and define the engineering foundations with the CTO from day one.

You'll drive platform architecture, implement robust pipelines, and ensure auditability, security, and reliability as the product scales to enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• Senior engineer with Staff/Principal level ownership and leadership responsibilities.
• Strong backend and distributed-systems expertise with scalable architectures.
• Hands-on infrastructure as code, CI/CD, observability, and production readiness.
• Experience in early-stage startups with broad ownership and ambiguity.
• Strong Python skills; some TypeScript/React for product portal needs.

Responsibilities

• Own core platform architecture for a multi-tenant SaaS product.
• Build and evolve conversation pipelines, data models, and integrations with contact-centre systems.
• Implement auditability, data provenance, and tamper-evident trails across the lifecycle.
• Maintain infrastructure as code, CI/CD, observability, logs, metrics, and disaster recovery.
• Ensure security, tenant isolation, entitlements, and enterprise readiness.
