Job summary

ShipperHQ is seeking a Founding Merchant Development Specialist to own the front end of our sales motion, from inbound qualification to intelligent outbound prospecting. You will research merchants, understand their checkout and shipping, and turn insights into meaningful conversations that create qualified opportunities.

As a founding team member, you will help build the merchant development function and potentially lead it as ShipperHQ grows.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Sales Development, Inside Sales, or related client-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Own inbound merchant qualification and speed-to-lead.
• Identify high-intent opportunities and route to Account Executive.
• Execute targeted outbound prospecting across phone, email, LinkedIn, and social channels.
• Research merchant stores, e-commerce presence, technology, and shipping models.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Social Media for targeted follow-up.
• Help build and refine the Merchant Development playbook.
• Maintain disciplined CRM records and follow-up.
