Job summary

Municipal is seeking a Founding Membership Director to lead membership growth strategy and sales execution, building and coaching the team, and delivering premium hospitality across the member journey.

You will own membership performance from lead generation through enrollment, onboarding, and early engagement, partnering with Operations and Personal Training to scale the brand with a new flagship location.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive sales experience with leadership responsibility.
• Ability to build sales routines, coach performance, manage a pipeline, and use data to improve results.
• Strong people leadership skills with hiring, onboarding, and accountability.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building with prospects, members, and partners.
• Comfortable using CRM systems, dashboards, and reports to organize work.

Responsibilities

• Own the membership sales plan and department results, translating gym goals into team priorities.
• Lead lead-generation, prospecting, referral, outreach, tours, follow-up, and enrollment practices.
• Monitor pipeline health, conversion, production, and pacing; coach the team toward action.
• Partner with General Manager on pricing, promotions, and launch/growth strategies.
• Create a premium, consistent prospect-to-member experience throughout the journey.
