Job summary

Eaton seeks a Principal Transactional Excellence Leader for the Eaton Transaction System (ETS). This founding, enterprise-level role drives process excellence across Record-to-Report and transactional value streams, shaping standards and AI-enabled workflows with Lean disciplines.

You will observe, redesign workflows, and deliver measurable business outcomes, partnering with architecture and process owners to scale improvements across SG&A.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 10 years leading process improvement and transformation for the R2R value stream.
• Authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
• Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification with coaching experience.
• Experience applying DMAIC/DFSS methodologies with measurable results.
• Strong analytical capabilities including process capability analysis and statistical validation.
• Advanced process mapping skills (value stream mapping, SIPOC, swim-lane).
• Experience with process mining tools (e.g., Celonis) to drive improvements.
• Experience implementing automation, RPA, and AI solutions in transactional/back-office environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end process improvement initiatives across corporate and transactional functions.
• Assess current-state processes using observation, stakeholder engagement, process mining, and data analysis to identify waste and handoffs.
• Establish process visibility, measurement integrity, and accurate performance baselines; identify unmeasured work.
• Drive root-cause resolution by improving upstream process conditions, not downstream symptoms.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, DMADV/DFSS) to redesign workflows.
• Quantify business impact through improvements in cost, quality, speed, risk, and productivity.
• Coach leaders and teams in continuous improvement disciplines and capability building.
• Partner with process owners and Solution Architecture to align process, technology, and system capabilities.
