Job summary

The Learning Experience Tallahassee is opening soon and seeking an enthusiastic Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our founding team. You will create a safe, nurturing classroom and deliver hands-on learning using our LEAP curriculum.

We offer a supportive environment with opportunities for growth; must have Florida DCF 45-hour training, 1–2 years of childcare experience, and a passion for helping young children thrive in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of formal childcare experience
• Florida DCF 45-hour training certificate completed
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to meet all applicable Florida childcare licensing requirements
• A genuine passion for working with young children
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
• Provide developmentally appropriate learning experiences
• Implement TLE’s proprietary LEAP curriculum through hands-on, play-based learning
• Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and coworkers
• Keep children engaged through creativity, music, movement, exploration, and play
• Communicate regularly with families about their child’s experiences, milestones, and accomplishments
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
• Follow all applicable Florida childcare licensing, health, safety, and supervision requirements
• Work collaboratively with the teaching team to provide exceptional care and education

Education
