Job summary

Baton AI in San Francisco seeks a Founding GTM operator to join the founding team. You’ll help build a repeatable GTM engine, scale pipeline, and accelerate outbound growth while shaping customer-facing messaging and revenue-building systems.

You’ll work closely with founders and wear multiple hats as the company grows. This early role offers high ownership, direct exposure to company-building, and the chance to influence GTM strategy at a fast-growing AI SaaS startup.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in startups, consulting, finance, investing, operations, or growth.
• High agency: own initiatives without prompts.
• AI-native and automation-minded; use AI daily.
• Sharp communicator: turn messy information into a simple narrative.
• Analytical and detail-obsessed; manage multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the founding team to turn Baton’s sales motion into a repeatable GTM engine across outbound, pipeline generation, content, partnerships, and customer expansion.
• Build the systems and internal tools behind that motion, using AI and automation to eliminate manual work wherever possible.
• Translate customer conversations into sharper messaging, stronger sales collateral, case studies, ROI narratives, and GTM playbooks.
• Keep Baton’s GTM materials sharp and up to date, including messaging, positioning, and internal sales notes.
• Take on high-priority projects that sit between functions: define the problem, create the plan, coordinate the right people, and drive the work to completion.
• Draft key communications, prep for important meetings, track decisions, and ensure follow-ups.
