Job summary

Hellyeah AI is seeking a Founding Head of GTM in the San Francisco Bay Area to build the 0→1 commercial engine. This role requires creating pipeline from scratch, shaping market narratives, and closing early customers with a hands-on, builder mindset.

You will work directly with the founder, shape pricing and packaging, and recruit the first GTM team as the motion begins to scale. This is a high-ownership, builder role in a fast-moving startup.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building pipeline from near zero.
• Excellent discovery, storytelling, objection handling, and closing skills.
• Ability to operate across full funnel from cold outreach to close.
• Strong ICP definition, messaging, and commercial positioning.
• Experience in fast-moving startup environments.
• High ownership and founder compatibility.

Responsibilities

• Own the earliest stages of building a repeatable GTM motion for Hellyeah.
• Define and refine ICP, wedge, and early customer segments.
• Turn ambiguous market demand into a sharp commercial narrative.
• Build pipeline from zero through outbound, partnerships, founder-led sales, content, community, and experiments.
• Run discovery calls, demos, pilots, negotiations, and early expansions yourself.
• Shape pricing, packaging, offers, and service-to-product transitions.
• Collaborate with product and founder to convert feedback into roadmap decisions.
• Close lighthouse customers that become case studies and proof points.
• Create the first repeatable GTM playbook across messaging, motion, channel, and conversion.
• Recruit and onboard the next wave of GTM talent when motion succeeds.
