Job summary

Weave is building a definitive platform to understand and improve how engineering teams work. As Founding Growth Engineer, you’ll own the self-serve funnel end to end—from first visit to hooked customer—and build the systems that turn it into a sales pipeline.

You’ll work on a small, intense team, sit on the GTM team, and ship production code weekly. You’ll drive growth through a product-focused, data-driven approach in SF.

Qualifications

• You’re an engineer first. You’ve shipped production code across the stack and you still write it every week.
• You’ve grown something and can show us the receipts (a funnel you owned, signup flow you rebuilt, or a programmatic SEO play).
• You think in funnels and cohorts; you’re fluent in SQL and product analytics and can design meaningful experiments.
• You have product taste; growth means making the product easier to want, not using dark patterns.
• You move fast and own outcomes; you fix leaks and report impacts.
• You care about developer tools; our users are engineers and trust what you read and use.
• This role requires 5 days in office in SF.

Responsibilities

• Own the funnel end to end: website, signup, onboarding, activation, expansion.
• Build the website like a product: landing pages, pricing, SEO pages, interactive demos.
• Make onboarding take minutes: manage signup and first-run experience to first insight.
• Run the experimentation engine: build A/B tests, feature flags and event tracking.
• Build the growth data stack: attribution, lead scoring, CRM sync for sales.
• Automate lifecycle: email and in-product sequences based on user actions.
• Partner across the team: collaborate with product engineering, marketing, and GTM stakeholders.
• Be flexible: rewrite signup flows, build SEO pipelines, or pull numbers for experiments.
