Job summary

MOJA seeks a founding General Manager for the Union Square flagship to open and operate the store end-to-end. You will recruit and train a ~22-person team, own the P&L, set standards, and lead guest experience from the floor to the kitchen.

This role requires 10+ years in high-volume QSR with GM experience, NYC-specific compliance, and a proven track record of opening units. The GM will become operating partner as the company scales.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in high-volume fast casual or QSR.
• GM role for 3–5 years with a ground-up path.
• Authorized to work in the US; NYC Food Protection Certificate required.
• Opening experience or proven growth of a unit.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead opening team of ~22 across FOH/BOH.
• Run daily operation, guest experience, throughput, and ratings.
• Enforce SOPs, recipes, and specs delivered by consultants.
• Own P&L, purchasing, labor, waste, and cost reporting weekly.
• Schedule, payroll, and labor model aligned with forecast.
• Maintain NYC DOHMH Grade A and compliance.
