Job summary

Unconventional, Inc. is hiring the first engineer for our Agentic Applications pod to architect and build internal productivity tools using Agentic AI.

You will own end-to-end development, from requirements to deployment, shaping the technical strategy and making build-versus-buy decisions to accelerate our operations in a fast-growing AI startup. This role offers significant ownership and equity as we redefine AI compute.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of full-stack engineering across frontend and backend.
• Strong Python and JavaScript (Node.js, React, Next.js).
• Hands-on experience building agentic applications and LLM orchestration.
• Experience with SQL and vector databases; DevOps and CI/CD ownership.
• Portfolio of demoable projects.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain bespoke internal Enterprise Productivity apps powered by Agentic AI.
• Own full lifecycle of applications using Databricks Apps platform for deployment and scaling.
• Define requirements with internal stakeholders, rapidly prototype, and prioritize the roadmap.
• Drive build-vs-buy decisions and guide AI tooling strategy.
