Job summary

Agentic Pods is seeking an Agentic Software Engineer to design, build, and operate production-grade agentic systems that improve complex operational workflows. You will embed with operators, identify where automation and AI can help, and translate ambiguous problems into reliable software.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or 1 year software engineering experience, in one or more listed areas.
Strong experience designing and building production backend or distributed systems including agentic apps, AI-enabled workflows, APIs, and data pipelines.
Experience owning and improving production systems, including monitoring, incidents, and recovery.

Responsibilities

Discover and build agentic systems and production components with operators and domain experts.
Own production reliability, define targets, and implement observability, tracing, logging, and incident response.
Make agents safe with evaluations, controls, and governance across risk areas with security, privacy, and data teams.
Build for reuse and scale by creating reusable skills and platform components and setting architectural standards.
