AXION, based in San Francisco, is seeking a Founding Electrical Engineer to own the electrical stack for our neural interface devices. You will design custom electronics, manage manufacturing relationships, and take products from prototype to production.

You'll build analog front-ends, power management, and PCB layouts, write embedded firmware, collaborate with software teams, and iterate rapidly from user testing to field performance.

Formación

• 5+ years hands-on electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with biosignal acquisition (EEG/EMG/ECG).
• Strong PCB design with low-noise analog design and embedded systems.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and embedded Linux.
• Experience with wireless protocols (BLE, WiFi).

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop custom electronics for neural interfaces.
• Own PCB design from schematic capture through layout and manufacturing.
• Write embedded firmware for microcontroller and SOC systems.
• Able to engage with component suppliers, contract manufacturers, and testing facilities.
• Collaborate with our software teams to interface with hardware and systems.
• Troubleshoot and iterate rapidly based on user testing and field performance.
