Job summary

Ladders, a leader in healthcare, is seeking a Founding Director – People to shape the people strategy from the ground up in a remote setting. You will build recruiting and HR foundations, partnering with founders to attract top talent and establish core processes to support growth.

For our client, we are seeking a Founding Director -- People to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will help shape the organization’s people strategy from the ground up, with a strong emphasis on building foundational recruiting and HR infrastructure. You will work closely with the founders and leadership team to attract high-impact talent, establish core people processes, and support the company’s continued growth. The position blends hands‑on execution with strategic partnership, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building in a fast-moving startup environment.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 annually
