Job summary

Nbutexas is seeking a Customer Success Manager to lead the CS function for a growing insurtech/fintech startup. You will design the playbook, processes, and structure that shape the customer experience from day one.

You’ll manage post-implementation success, partner with product and operations, and drive adoption, retention, and expansion across MGAs, agencies, and insurers. This is a remote role favoring candidates near New York City or Austin, TX.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of property & casualty insurance workflows.
• Experience in client servicing or account management.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with insurance customers.

Responsibilities

• Build and establish the customer success processes and operating model.
• Serve as a trusted partner to MGAs, wholesalers, agencies, and other insurance customers.
• Develop a deep understanding of each customer's business and financial operations.
• Guide customers through post-implementation adoption and ongoing use of the platform.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer engagement, retention, and expansion.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, Sales, and leadership to communicate customer needs and product opportunities.
• Develop scalable customer communication, onboarding, training, and support processes.
• Create metrics for monitoring account health, adoption, and outcomes.
